NBA Rumors: Jodie Meeks to Milwaukee Bucks?
This summer has seen several free agents change teams, but a few players are still looking for a home for the upcoming NBA season and Jodie Meeks is among those looking for a new home.
The former Philadelphia 76ers guard averaged over 8 points and two rebounds last season, but the team has several young players in the front-court and Meeks was the odd-man out. The latest rumor from Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld has three teams showing interest in the 24-year-old and Milwaukee looks like the favorite to land the young guard.
The Bucks have made some big roster moves over the last few months, but the team still has depth problems in the back-court and adding a player like Meeks who has starting experience would give the team some good depth this year.
Meeks is an excellent shooter from long-range and Milwaukee is one NBA team that could use a three-point specialist, especially late in games. While nothing concrete has happened between the two sides, the Bucks front office would be wise in adding a player like Meeks as the team looks to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference this season.
