MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers completed the third day of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft with 25 selections today from Rounds 16-40. Overall, the Brewers made 42 selections over the three days of the MLB Draft.

Earlier today, Milwaukee selected OF Lance Roenicke, son of Manager Ron Roenicke, in the 25th Round. Roenicke batted .310 with four home runs, 35 RBI, 38 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 55 games for UC-Santa Barbara this past season.
The Brewers drafted 27 college players and 15 high school players. Milwaukee chose 21 pitchers (five left-handers and 16 right-handers). Of the 21 positional players, the Brewers took nine infielders, six catchers and six outfielders.
